Background Checks:

Friendly reminder that new background checks MUST be complete in order to volunteer for the Fun Run! Background checks need to be completed ASAP.

Volunteer Opportunities: 

We need volunteers to help set-up/clean-up, work the spirit table, first aid station, distribute water cups, dress up in the Mustang Sally costume, hand out popsicles, sell Middleton apparel, etc. Interested? Visit the Fun Run Sign-Up Genius!

Top Lap Runner Prizes 

• Top Laps Class (top K-2 and top 3-5) gets a surprise field trip 

• Top Laps Class (per grade level) gets an extra recess and trophy

• Top Laps Student (per grade level) gets a free Kona Ice

Top Money Earner Prizes

• Top 3 money earners (per grade level) get free Kona Ice coupon

• Top 5 money earners (per grade level) get School Night Out (students get to have dinner and do fun activities at the school after hours)

• All students who earn more than $250 get a $5 student store coupon

• All students who earn more than $500 get a free apparel item coupon

Tier Levels for School-wide Prizes

$30,000 - Music at lunch

$40,000 - Popcorn friday with flavor shakers (cinnamon, ranch, white cheddar, carmel corn, etc)

$50,000 - Mrs. Edinger wears a funny inflatable costume all day

$60,000 - Student Vote Prize: Slime Mrs. Ediger OR have Mrs. Edinger kiss an alpaca 

$70,000 - Grade level movie days

Middleton Elementary School | Fun Run - Fundraising System 

For our Fun Run this year, we're using an awesome web based fundraising system that makes it much easier for you to request donations from your family and friends, and for them to make secure credit card donations online. It's fun, it's easy, and people who use it typically raise twice as much as those who don't!

Remember, our Fun Run is Thursday, October 9th, so please register now to help our school raise as much as we can for assemblies, field trips, classroom needs, staff appreciation, and curriculum enrichment materials:

Using your computer's browser:

• Go to http://pledgestar.com/middleton

• Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”

• Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”

• Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends

Using your Android or Apple phone or tablet:

• Go to your device’s App Store and search for "PledgeStar" to download the Family App, or go to https://pledgestar.com/middleton/downloadapp.html

• On the home screen enter your event code: “middleton” to locate your event

• Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”

• Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”

• Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends

When you finish, the system emails donation requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online.
