Volunteering

2023-2024 School Year

We are currently looking for volunteers for committee chairs and events during the 2023-2024 school year. Below is a brief description of each committee. If you are interested in getting more involved or would like more information about volunteer opportunities, email middletonpacboard@gmail.com

Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Popcorn Fridays - Students receive popcorn during snack time each Friday. Volunteers for popcorn Friday pop popcorn at the school on Friday mornings and deliver it to each classroom.


Passport Club - This club for 3rd - 5th graders is centered around geography. It can be before or after school any day of the week depending on committee chairs schedule or preference.


Chess Club - This club for 1st- 5th graders is centered around chess. It can be before or after school any day of the week depending on committee chairs schedule or preference.


Yearbook - Help take pictures throughout the year and assemble the yearbook


Art Lit - Art Lit is art lessons and art projects that the entire school participates in a few different times throughout the school year. Time slots will be posted for volunteers to sign up. This activity needs many volunteers.


Toy and Gift Drive -This event takes place during the end of November and early December. Committee will help receive and organize gifts. 


Family Movie Night -Planning and organizing a family movie night in the cafeteria. This event will occur on January 13th.


Food Drive -Planning and organizing a food drive for the week of March 6th - 10th


Horseshoe Hop Dance - Planning and organizing a school dance. This event will take place on March 10th.


Talent Show - Planning and organizing students for a school wide talent show. This event will take place on April 13th - 14th.


Carnival - Our carnival is a large evening event open to the community and will take place on May 19th. Volunteers are needed for planning the carnival and planning a gift raffle that will occur during the same time.


Mileage Club - For the month of May, students have the opportunity to participate in mileage club twice a week by walking/running laps during their recess time. Volunteers are needed to punch lap cards during the lunch hour every Tuesday/Thursday during May.
